The sport, sporting and sporting-related communities are the largest in Australia.
There are also significant groups in both the community and the media that are active in sport and the community of sport.
These groups are not necessarily in the same space.
But they do form a network, a common platform of shared experiences.
For the first time, we are asking the community to join the conversation about the sport, its impact on the community, and the role of sport in community and local development.
We have also commissioned a study by the Australian Sport Council (ASCC), which is a member of the Sports Council, to investigate what people want to know about sport and how they can get involved.
The research, which will be published in the coming weeks, will focus on three key questions: what do people want from sport; how can they get involved?; and what can they learn from each other?
The study will include an interactive toolkit and the publication of findings to inform the conversation.
The survey asks five questions about the sports and their communities:what are the sport’s key players and their role?how can people get involved;how can they make an impact;andwhat can they do to support the community.
We are also asking the people who have been involved in sport to share their experiences.
The answers to the five questions will form a key piece of evidence that will inform the study.
The survey will focus not just on the people’s experiences and experiences of sport, but on the way people are participating in sport, and how their involvement is shaping the sport and community.
The research will be a collaborative process.
We will collect responses from people who are active members of the sport community and from others.
The study is also open to members of all sports who are interested in sharing their experiences and ideas with the ASCC and the wider community.
