NC State has announced a big event for the school’s OldEST High School.
The event is an all-girl basketball game.
The girls are ranked number 1 and are ranked #1 in the country.
The game will be held on Feb. 2.
The girls will play on Saturday, Feb. 8.
The school has been holding this game since the 1950s.
The games have always been a big deal in the area.
“We are very excited and are looking forward to hosting this special event,” said Mary Elizabeth Latham, NC State Athletic Director.
“NC State Athletics has been working hard to bring this game to our community and I am proud to say that we are on track to have this important event in the OldEST School’s history.”NC State is one of the top programs in the state of North Carolina.
The girls are led by sophomore forward Dae-Jung Lee, who is a member of the USA Women’s National Team.
They are ranked No. 1 in the nation.
